When we sit down with our clients, either at the end of their year, or every few months for a quarterly review, it is the business budget which is under the spotlight.
Fairly often when business owners come to us they are muddling through, vaguely aware of where they are aiming for, but without clear and realistic budgeting goals.
It is an area of our role which we find highly rewarding. Examining the business, the direction of travel and helping our owners clarify what is achievable. Realigning business goals and working with clients to set a rigorous budget are ways in which a good accountant can help a business thrive.
