Letting you know our business continuity plans

Blog

The situation surrounding coronavirus is fast moving but we can reassure you that we are doing everything we can and are following the latest advice from the UK Government to manage any consequences for our clients and our staff.
We have put in place a number of measures at Evans & Partners to ensure that we have business continuity when dealing with the possible impacts of coronavirus. This includes implementing a Policy and Guidelines for all employees based on current government recommendations.

We have reviewed our home working provision and most if not all staff can work from home if needed. Should the office need to close or an individual is asked to self-isolate but remains well, they will continue to be able to work from home and can be contacted by phone and email in the usual way.

Our IT systems are all remote (and secure) so we can be located anywhere with an internet connection.  No data is stored locally. Our phone system is IP (internet) based so staff can pick up calls from anywhere.

In the event that resourcing levels are compromised due to illness or inability to work, we will consider how resources are used to their best advantage.  It is likely that will mean prioritisation of urgent workloads and we will inform our clients should such a situation arise.  We will take every effort to mitigate the impact for our clients in this situation.

Post handling

There is the possibility that our office becomes inaccessible but our expectation is that any closure will be a temporary situation while we carry out a deep clean.  We would aim to have at least a skeleton staff to deal with the administration side of the business.  However, we deal increasingly with email rather than post.

We encourage you and your contacts to use email in place of post in case we are unable to access our incoming post.

Meeting at our offices

For many of our clients, face-to-face meetings are an important part of moving things forward but we recognise that this might not always be feasible.  If preferred we can arrange both telephone and video meetings, which are important for many of our clients from an environmental and efficiency point of view too.

We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops, and will take the appropriate action as necessary. We want you to know how much we appreciate your flexibility and understanding during this time.

Should you have any queries whatsoever, please speak with your key contact(s) at Evans & Partners as soon as possible or contact the Client Service Team on 0117 9675215 or client.service@evanspartners.co.uk
